Staying within the existing exterior walls, this home's interior of tiny rooms and narrow hallways
was completely removed to make way for a new layout of long vistas and open spaces.
Simple lines with quality materials create a comfortably settled palette where one can relax and
enjoy the boat traffic passing back and forth outside the east-facing windows. Interiors include solid maple floors,
Italian cabinetry, locally quarried sandstone slabs at the corner fireplace, and glass counters.
Much attention was paid to lighting the interiors to make the inside spaces bright and festive even
during the grey days common in the Puget Sound region.
The ample kitchen extends to the water's edge via a pair of 8-foot sliding glass doors that open onto an
expansive entertainment deck, making this home comfortable for two or twenty-five.
